Regardless of what you have been told, under New York State law you have the right to use the repair shop of your choice.

We deal directly with all insurance companies. Some insurance companies may ask you to to visit their drive-in claim center before having your car repaired. Just leave your car with us and ask the company to inspect the vehicle in our repair shop.

You are NOT required by New York State law to obtain more than one repair estimate.

Gaio's repaired my husband's truck after a tree fell on it during Hurricane Sandy.  The repair was beautiful and they fixed a few other things that we didn't even mention.  Other times, I have asked for advice or for an estimate and they have been very honest and helpful.  I will definitely go back.

I am not a car person, my family are not car people...So when I have the task of getting body work done, I am prepared to feel dumb and get ripped off...The anticipation can be like going to the dentist...
BUT: After reversing into a pole and smashing my rear light and bumper, I brought my car to Gaio's.  The owner, Vinny took me through my options and gave me pricing for each.
I did my due diligence and did some comp "shopping" well, Gaio's proved to be very fairly priced. The work was done quickly. The quality of work proved impeccable.  You can't even tell I reversed into a pole :)
Thank you Gaio's.  Although I hope to not need to be back, if I do need body work I know where to go.

I've been going to Gaoi's now for years. They go above and beyond every time I need something done. Not only are they super honest and friendly but  they do everything in their power to get me my car back as soon as possible. Would definitely recommend Gaio's to anyone!
